According to Josiah, “I don’t want you doubting me because I don’t have legs. I want to show you that I’m just as human as you, and just as good as you are, if not better.”
Since Josiah was in kindergarten, he has always been in love with basketball. He tried out for the Moore Middle School basketball team, and he got in.

He disclosed that he acted like he wasn’t happy in front of the coach, “when I went to the gym, I was elated.”
Since then, he has proven that he is worthy of the spot in the team.
According to Josiah’s coach, “he shows up daily, adding that, “if we have a sprint or something like that, he runs them too. That is very much exciting to see him go out there and do what everyone else does, as well.”
