Bizarre Elden Ring Glitch Has Player Ride An Arrow Like A Horse

Thanks to a glitch, one Elden Ring player saw themselves riding a giant arrow into battle. The latest dark fantasy RPG by FromSoftware and legendary Game Of Thrones author George R.R. Martin has turned into a breakout accomplishment since it launched half a month ago, gaining critical acclaim and beating out other enormous releases like Horizon: Forbidden West and Pokémon Legends: Arceus to turn into the top of the line computer game of 2022 in the United States up until this point. As a completely customizable Tarnished, players are tasked with gathering the lost fragments of the titular Elden Ring to turn into the legendary Elden Lord - a task that is easier said than done thanks to Elden Ring's rebuffing trouble and wide array of strong foes.

While a very fruitful and all around crafted game generally, Elden Ring isn't without its fair share of technical hiccups. A portion of these glitches are relatively easy to fix, for example, a few foes and NPCs turning imperceptible except if a player has their graphic settings a certain way. Others are more problematic, as was the case when a streamer was frozen completely still during a troublesome supervisor battle against a Giant Land Octopus in Elden Ring's opening times. FromSoftware has been chipping away at adjusting these issues with update patches, yet a few genuinely bizarre bugs and glitches are proceeding to spring up during rounds of Elden Ring.

One far more entertaining instance happened to Reddit client Fosterkid115, who posted a brief gameplay video of their chance experience with a strange glitch on the Elden Ring subreddit earlier today. Their Tarnished is amidst a horseback battle with an ax-employing giant, which brings about the horse being killed with a blow from Fosterkid115's towering adversary. Fosterkid115 rapidly calls another horse after drinking a healing elixir, yet at the same instant, a subsequent giant discharge a massive arrow into the horse, killing it and leaving the player sitting atop the weapon instead of their horse - leaving them totally vulnerable to the giant's next attack and leading to the red "You Died" text that means death in Elden Ring. The video right now stands at 6.6 thousand upvotes on r/Elden Ring, and different players in the remark segment have been sharing their own accounts of unexpectedly winding up atop a massive, unmoving arrow.

Getting found out in a strange glitch is only one of the many ways Elden Ring players have been met with a troublesome end, as clasps of Tarnished getting slain by apparently harmless goats and excrement creepy crawlies during or after a battle with a seriously forcing manager have been appearing on the web since Elden Ring launched late last month. A few beasts have even aggravated some old animosity by affronting an Elden Ring player's carcass after killing them, and players hoping to pet the canines roaming about the Lands Between have been met with a grisly end as well.

Part of what has made Elden Ring such a mind-blowing phenomenon is the unpredictability that accompanies each battle - and this apparently incorporates wild glitches like a Tarnished's horse out of nowhere being replaced with a massive arrow. Perhaps an unfortunate warrior who runs over this bizarre bug could sort out some way to involve this curiously large arrow as a weapon against the giant that tossed it, however for the time being there is little Elden Ring players can do aside from trusting that the following horse they bring is for sure a horse - in case they end up trapped before an approaching attack.
