15 Cottage
Bringing Scotland To Your Vivarium
The Cottage is entirely a decorative item, but it can make a big difference in your Vivariums. As with any item, you can adjust its size to match the size of your beasts or your own preference. Although you can't enter the cottage, it adds a nice touch to the surroundings, creating a peaceful environment.
Unlocking it is free, but you have to unlock the essential Alohomora spell first. You can find the recipe inside a locked house to the east of Hogsmeade's town, between Vesters & Venum and Steepley and Sons. After that, placing it costs only 12 Moonstone.

This potting table with three small pots is a good start to start growing your own plants when you first unlock the Room Of Requirement. You can grow Mandrake, Dittany, and Mallowsweet in small pots. Dittany is combined with Horklump Juice to make the healing Wiggenweld Potion.

11 Enchanted Loom
Upgrade Your Gear
After following the main questline, you will soon come across Deek's quest, The Elf, The Nab-Sack, And The Loom. By completing the elf's quest, you do not only learn how to catch beasts, but you also acquire the recipe for The Enchanted Loom. This tool will allow you to upgrade your gear using materials from the beasts you catch.
Deek will also give you the Nab-sack, a necessary tool for catching beasts. If you're having a hard time progressing in the game, it's worth checking out your gear's stats and upgrading them, as it can help you in battles and quests.

This is great because all the work you have to do is occasionally come back to The Room and collect the potion.

When you begin rescuing creatures and providing them with a refuge in your Vivariums, you may encounter some that are more difficult to locate than others. Fortunately, once you have captured a female and male of the same species and completed a straightforward side quest, you can obtain the Breeding Pen for a mere 1,000 Galleons.
Thanks to a quest offered by Deek, the first creature you will be able to breed is the elegant and mysterious Thestral. The use of the pen is simple, just choose a male and female creature and place them in the pen. The time required for the offspring to be born will depend on the creature you have selected.
