Basile named CEO of Carmel arts center

Frank Basile has been named the interim president and CEO of The Center for the Performing Arts.

CARMEL - Frank Basile has been named the interim president and CEO of The Center for the Performing Arts.

"Frank Basile is a phenomenal leader," said Rollin M. Dick, chairman of the Center for the Performing Arts' board. "His visionary leadership will continue to guide the Center. As we complete the arts campus, we are moving into a new phase. We are looking ahead to a phenomenal season ahead."

Basile assumes the position held by Steven Libman, who decided to pursue other opportunities.

"I have loved my tenure at the Center, but the time demands have become enormous. I am very proud of what has been accomplished and I know the Center has a very bright future," Libman said in a release.

Basile will begin his duties immediately.
