a putter for life ?

Funnily enough didn't the same thing happen to him in the RC at Muirfileld village and he had to putt with his 1 iron (remember them). He got it repaired and I saw him using it at the Senior Open a few years back.

There's a guy at our club still using the first putter he ever bought as a kid. He's about 70. Can't remember the make but I think it was a old British brand. Once played with him and he single putted 6 greens in a row. Never takes a practice swing.

Putter for life? Very possible.
