You can watch this series to get similar vibes while waiting for newer Solo Leveling episodes.
Five Anime like Solo Leveling
1: Demon Slayer
Demon Slayer is a renowned and acclaimed anime/manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge. The manga is animated by the popular studio Ufotbale, known for its out-of-this-world animations. The plot revolves around Tanjiro, an average child whose sister was turned into a demon.
He embarks on his journey to cure her, but it’s complicated; several demons will be obstacles in his path. To protect innocent lives and cure his sister, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps, where he begins his complex yet fascinating journey.
2: Bleach
One of the most well-known anime series of all time, the story written by Tite Kubo has served as the foundation for new-generation anime series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and Black Clover, using Bleach as a source of inspiration for their characters and plot.
Bleach introduces a very different world to the viewers, focusing on the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, who fights the souls that cannot rest and wander around, causing trouble. The story depicts sword-slinging soul reapers who fight and exorcise those hollows. The series is in its last arc, Thousand Year Blood War, and part 3 is about to be released this year.
3: Attack on Titan
Arguably the most popular anime of the decade, Attack on Titan is filled with everything you need as a viewer, such as suspense, plot twists, action, betrayal, and a very traumatizing storyline, and it will most definitely embed a place in your heart once you are done watching this masterpiece.
Hajime Isayama drew the story around Eren Yeager, whose mother was eaten by a titan, and he decides to eradicate every single one of them to get revenge for his dead mother, but throughout his journey, he learns a shattering truth that changes his whole perspective of the world.
4: Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man’s story premise is quite similar to that of Solo Leveling, as the protagonists of both series retain young, shy, and timid personalities. Denji, the main character of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s magnum opus, is the latest addition to the devil hunters who slay devils of every grade.
Fused with his devil dog Pochita and gaining powers beyond one dream, much like Sung Jin Woo kicks off the plot of Chainsaw Man, throughout his journey, Denji encounters several new friends who tag along with him in his journey of slaying devils to earn money and to enjoy his life to the fullest.
5: Jujutsu Kaisen
Hardly any anime viewer might not have come across Jujutsu Kaisen; with the series being one of the most talked-about anime and manga series in recent months, Itadori and Sung Jin Woo share the same ideology, which is to get stronger to protect their loved ones.
Itadori Yuji ends up consuming one of Sukuna’s fingers, which brings back the king of curses, who decides to obliterate the entire human society and reign over humans as he did 1000 years ago. His goal is opposed by the jujutsu sorcerers of the current era, who now eliminate curses and will go against the Ryomen Sukuna.
